Suva is Fiji's capital and a city with a rich colonial past. It is a beautiful harbour city built on a peninsula and can be characterised by the modern buildings, palm trees and colourful flowering gardens. This tour includes and orientation which will show you all the main sites of Suva as well as time to explore on your own.
Privately operated tour to Suva . Visit to the Commercial City of Fiji, 3.5 hours Drive from Nadi/Denarau , approximately 2 hours from Coral Coast Hotels. Our first stop is the Fiji Museum on the edge of the city for a peek at Fiji’s colourful history. The Museum houses archaeological artefacts spanning 3500 years from the era of the Lapita people, early Fijians, European settlement, the Girmits and British colonisation. The Museum tour concludes with a short walk through the Botanical Gardens to see local flora and fauna.
We will also drive to see Suva landmarks like the Parliament House and the President’s House before taking some time out for retail therapy at local markets and shopping centres. The tour does not operate on Sunday’s as most shops are closed.
