The stunning orchid collection was begun in 1977 by the late Raymond Burr, star of Perry Mason and Iron-side. Originally designed to house Burr’s private collection of tropical orchids, the gardens have developed into a popular attraction.
Leaving the gardens you will continue to Viseisei Village, legendary landing site of the first Fijians, where you will be shown the village and handicraft displays. Along a track a short distance from Viseisei lies the historic village of Vuda – of great significance to the Fijian people.
