We Pick up from your hotel destinations at 2pm by private vehicle. (Operates only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) Pottery Village: This is your only chance to witness how the Fijian ladies demonstrate the making of pottery and sculptor. Pottery Making! This art has seen a renaissance of late, and you will find Nakabuta-made bowls, plates, and other items in handicraft shops all over town. A 45 minute scenic drive along the queen’s highway bound for Nakabuta Pottery Village, passing through villages and pine forest reserves not forgetting sugar cane farms which makes us known for producing one of the best brown sugar in the world. Along the way your guide will point out historical sights and points of interest like the famous Sand dunes where human skeletal remains and pottery shards have made it an archaeological site. You will also get to see the Sigatoka River which is Fiji's longest waterway. This is an ideal orientation tour of Sigatoka Valley known as “The Salad Bowl of Fiji” that gives the opportunity for both first timers and repeat visitors alike to discover many points of scenic, cultural and historic interest about Sigatoka and Fiji as a whole. The tour itself has an easy commentary highlighting interesting points, stories and social history aspects.

Pottery Village

After spending an hour at the pottery village at around 3pm we take you up to the Sand Dunes Sigatoka.

Sand Dunes

Explore four miles of windswept sand dunes along the coast at Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, one of Fiji’s most beautiful and unique natural wonders.

The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park is located at the mouth of the Sigatoka River on the island of Viti Levu in Fiji. They are located approximately 3 km west of the town of Sigatoka

The Sigatoka Sand Dunes are famous for their rich archaeological history. The first significant clues to man’s arrival in Fiji were discovered at the Park in the late 1980’s.

The dunes contain a diverse mixture of endemic and introduced plant species. The National Park also plays host to 22 species of bird, eight of which are endemic to Fiji, including the Fiji Bush Warbler, Fiji Goshawk, Orange-breasted Mycenaean, Skinks, Lizards, Geckos and Fruit bats find refuge in the park’s diverse habitats.

Boat Departs Robinson Crusoe Jetty at 5pm and returns 9.30pm

Dinner is then served consisting of Island Roast Feast of Roast Pork, Roast Beef, vegetables & local Fijian dishes, then Polynesian cultural dance, knife & spectacular fire dance show.

Aqua Tours Fiji provides all private transfers back to the Resort.
